WHAT ARE THEY?
Software Issues are problems encountered by a user using a Laptop. These problems reside within the program or the data of a computer. These issues do not relate to physical damage to the actual Laptop. The issues in which relate to Software are commonly Viruses, Internet Access, Too Slow.

VIRUSES
Viruses are common problems experienced by laptop and computer users. These are often encountered due to a users being careless, unsuspecting or keeping up to date. A computer virus once in your system is able to corrupt or delete data, spread to other victims using the users email program or even remove everything on the users hard disk.
Users at times may be unaware there device is lurking with viruses thus remaining unaware that there computer is being attacked.

If you are unsure you have a virus, these are things you should be aware of:
1. Computer running slower than usual
2. Browser Hijackers
- If the users browser suddenly begins using a new search engine such as AVG Safe Search, Snap.do or Quickstart, your system has been infected by malware designed to change browser settings without user realization.
3. Browsers suddenly have lots of ad + pop up
SOLUTIONS
1. BE SURE YOUR LAPTOP/COMPUTER FIREWALL IS UP

The Windows Firewall is programmed into every windows computer, including the Laptop issued out to the year 7 students. When your firewall is turned off, hackers and malicious software finds its way into your computer much more easily.

2. INSTALL ANTI VIRUS PROGRAMS
Anti Virus software's can locate and identify viruses by contents of a file or program.
INTERNET CONNECTIVITY PROBLEMS
Internet Connectivity Problems are issues had by the user in which restrain him from connecting to the net. There are plenty of problems resulting from Internet Connectivity Problems. This includes both hardware and software problems as a user may be unable to connect to the internet due to there computer, or there are commonly physical damage to the laptop or router. System damages in which affect internet connectivity result from missing driver files and outdated adapter files.
SOLUTIONS
- Check that the Wifi is working from the source. A lot of users mistake there laptop wifi is broken even though the problem is the router
- Check that your wifi is switched on. On most laptops there is a small button with the wifi symbol on it. If it is the color orange, not white that means you have switched your wifi off. To turn it back on again, simply re click it.
- Update driver files
Ways to update your driver:
Use the windows update and set your computer to update automatically
Install software from the device manufacturer. When the school issues out laptops, the device comes with a CD. That disc commonly contains software that installs a driver for the device.
SLOW COMPUTER/LAPTOP
Computers and Laptops tend to begin to slow down due to a user installing too many programs overtime or when the system has been infected by Malware. Malware tends to use up CPU resources in which slow down the computer/laptops performance
SOLUTIONS
1. Install a Virus scanner to remove viruses and spyware lurking on the computer. As previously stated, "

HARDWARE ISSUES
Hardware issues refers to Hardware Failures in which are malfunctions within the electronic circuits or electromechanical components such as disks, and tapes or the physical damage to a computer system. These include cracked screens, keyboard malfunctions and laptop being unable to be charged.
CRACKED SCREENS
Users commonly damage there laptop screen. This is commonly due to carelessness for the laptop in which the user may have dropped, punched or slammed the laptop causing its screen to shatter.
